Terms of use and sale

These terms cover your use of tireshopplaybook.com and the digital kits sold by Tire Shop Playbook ("we", "us"), a sole proprietorship. By using the site or buying a kit, you agree to them. Questions: hello@tireshopplaybook.com.

1. Buying a kit

Kits are sold and delivered through Gumroad. Gumroad processes payment and delivers the files, and its own terms apply to the checkout. Prices are shown in US dollars and may change; the price you pay is the one shown at checkout.

2. Refunds

All sales are final. If a file doesn't work, email hello@tireshopplaybook.com and we'll make it right. See the refund policy.

3. Your license

When you buy a kit, you get a license to use it in your own business. You may:

• use, edit and print the files for your shop and your staff, and
• give customers the documents you fill in from them (estimates, invoices, forms, signs).

You may not resell, share, upload or give away the files themselves or edited versions of them, or offer them as your own templates or product. Each purchase is for one business. We keep all rights in the kits that aren't granted here.

4. Not professional advice

The kits are tools and templates. They are not legal, tax, accounting, safety or engineering advice. Rules differ by state. Have a local attorney review and adapt any waiver, policy, invoice or SOP before you use it, and check tax questions with your accountant. The kits contain no torque, inflation, bead-seating or repair values; always follow the vehicle manufacturer's specifications, the tire and equipment makers' instructions and your shop's safety procedures. Example data in the files is for illustration only and is not a prediction of your results.

5. Your responsibility

You're responsible for the numbers you enter, the prices you charge and how your shop uses the kits, including checking the results before you rely on them.

6. Disclaimer

We work to make every kit accurate and useful, but the site and the kits are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise that the kits will be error-free or will fit every shop.

7. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits) from using the site or the kits, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the kit involved. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

8. Using the site

Please don't misuse the site, try to break it, or copy its content to pass off as your own. Links to other sites, such as Gumroad, are provided for convenience; those sites have their own terms.

9. Names and trademarks

"Tire Shop Playbook" and the Hex Lug Nut logo are ours. Other company and product names mentioned on the site or in the kits belong to their owners. We're not affiliated with any tire manufacturer, retailer or installer network.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page, with the date at the top, applies to purchases made after that date.
